Pink Wednesday Manicure

Once Upon A Time….
A couple of nail bloggers decided to let their love for the movie Mean Girls manifest itself in the form of  wearing pink manis on Wednesdays.
In the movie Mean Girls, “The Plastics” always wear pink on Wednesdays. And while we’re not mean girls at all, we loved the idea so much that we tweaked it a little and made it our own.

And thus Pink Wednesdays were born!

Essie A French Affair Collection

Recently I stopped into Walgreen's and noticed that a few Essie polishes were 50% off!!!! Of course I was super excited because Essie is my favorite formula of polish, and the collections they have been coming out with are ON POINT =]

Upon closer examination I noticed that it was the 2 polishes that i had not picked up from the French affair collection =]

I would HIGHLY recommend ALL of these polishes. Some of the BEST nudes I have EVER seen. Topless & Barefoot is a MUST MUST MUST. It is PERFECT on toes =]

Essie Braziliant Collection

The Essie Summer collection this year is Called Braziliant. I picked up 3 colors that caught my eye.

 Brazilant is a coral color, More like a fire coral, application is very opaque with 2 coats, no streaking =]

Smooth Sailing is a periwinkle color with purple and teal fine shimmer, opaque with 2 coats and no streaking.

Last is Absolutely Shore is a grey toned minty color. This is the one I was most excited about because it is so unique. VERY streaky in 1 coat, still streaky after 2. It took 3 coats for me to get an opaque finish.

All in all, I still recommend Absolutely Shore because it is so unique and I have seen nothing like it yet.
